The Institute is situated close to the up coming Bangalore-Mysore high-tech corridor connected through the high-speed four-lane express way. For this reason the area is fast emerging as an ideal location for high-tech enterprises. Already, over four hundred and fifty IT companies are located in this area with two Software Technology Parks in operation and two more being under construction. Most major software houses are fast setting up their facilities in this area.
